My idea would be to have a fashion website where people could buy and sell clothing online with an account. To do so, anyone interested in buying or selling would sign up by supplying basic personal information, thus becoming a member. The sales would take place in an auction format, similar to eBay. This website would differ from eBay in that those individuals in tune with the fashion industry could list for sale valuable, collectable, or vintage items. There currently exist websites that allow you to buy and sell fashion items, but this website will also members the ability to blog about new trends or articles of clothing. Also for this website there will be administrators that help guide people in the right direction.
The website could be advertised on twitter. The websites administrators will have the ability to broadcast tweets to inform people that could be interested in a website. The website would have some similar aspects to twitter because you are posting a comment similar to a "tweet" that anyone who joins the site can read and comment on. A main difference is that twitter encourages short phrases and comments, while this website will allow commentary in the form of complete paragraphs involving anything in the fashion world as well as selling items.

How will the blog feature will be different than the commenting capabilities many shopping websites offer. Users are able to look at items and post comments based on their level or satisfaction and interest in the product. In your opinion, what will set your website apart from the others?
this is a good idea because it allows people to buy vintage clothing and other sorts of clothing without having to sort through clothing racks. I like the selling part because so many people have old clothes that they just give away.
